“The deeper one digs the more lost one might feel yet the closer he gets to finding what has been lost. Much is buried beneath many layers-truth and treasure. Your truth is your treasure. It is the route to both freedom and abundance. Self exploration leads to connections; to the past, to others, but more importantly to Spirit and self. Your truth within manifests into abundance around you. A time of fallow precedes a time of fruit. Each period is of importance. It is good to remember what one does for self he does for others. That reverberation reaches and extends and continues. The echo from the mountain is heard across the valley and so on. Lift your voice to sing and your foot to dance. It will always reach another of the same beat/resonance. Together healing occurs. No one does it all or alone. The saying ‘takes a village to raise a child’ goes the same for saving humanity/the world. Every being plays a part that fits into others until all hands are joined. Each is a link in the chain/circle. We are here to connect, to commune, to recognize the tribe who helps us find our way, what makes us feel complete. This can be strictly in relationship or can be work, creative endeavors, joy, or adventure inspired, whatever makes one ‘tick’. It is in the ‘coming alive’ where one finds self-connection to Spirit-a sense of purpose. To live with purpose is to live with intention. That essence is known to small children but is often lost through outside influence. When one regains this essence and lives from this center this authenticity, this truth, leads him with his purpose, his desire of experience. This places his mark on the world, whatever it is and in whatever form it takes-for that is his purpose-to find it and use it. For it will lead him home. And that is the beauty of the quest.

The State of Self

A water nymph or a wood nymph? A title is not her being, nor is her being a title. She seems to be bound to two worlds. On bended knees her moss laden legs stretch and dig into the river, her roots grounding her beneath the riverbed. Yet, she bears the mark of the forest upon the etched bark of her back. Whether or not she is claimed by both water and earth, she dances with the wind. Her arms reach skyward to the sun which shines upon her. She knows she can never be contained, for it is her freedom to be a part of it all…and she rises.
As humans it is within our nature to define or confine ourselves or others to titles or labels by occupations, talents, traits, or relationships. With the ending or changing of careers or relationships these titles modify. One may experience a sense of loss or perhaps of freedom, thus an alteration of power.
One experiences many changes in a lifetime. As one reflects on the past, she may find she has faced change kicking and screaming and other times jumping in with both feet. Other changes may have been gradual and graceful. Has there been a time of upheaval in your life that in retrospect proved to be beneficial? Have the use of lables and titles in your life been both negative and positive? What strength do you find within yourself to guide you along the journey of change? From your lifetime of experience is there a piece of advice you wish you could have imparted to your younger self?
Being the Wave
The tides are changing. Humans must adapt accordingly. They have come to believe they must turn to outside sources for knowledge and direction. One must learn all he needs to know comes from within. One must practice stillness to find the way inside. Through this application, he develops the relationship of trust with self in connecttion to Source. As man does this, he begins to flow with the water; his rhythm matches that of the tide. He becomes the wave, both the water and the current. What rides in and out with the wave becomes a part of him just as the is part of the ocean. All are one. As a wave goes out to sea, it collects much along the way, losing some of its gatherings upon its return to shore. In this continuous cycle, one picks up what he needs at the time and gives it back when done. He keeps what is best for his highest good and shares with others so they also can benefit. These very attributes will display themselves differently from human to human. Its reception upon receipt is perception, thus creating various perspectives and beliefs. One always has the ability to change his perspective but remains his person. Such is the same with unity…we are various perspectives of the One.
